SUMMER READING ACTIVITIES AND DIRECTIONS CAN BE ACCESSED HERE. 

At Fairfield Middle School, we believe that reading is one of the best ways to prepare for a successful school year. We encourage every Griffin to make reading a part of their summer routine by completing the assigned Summer Reading activities.

Summer reading helps students:

• Strengthen reading comprehension and vocabulary.
• Maintain academic skills throughout the summer.
• Build confidence as they prepare for the new school year.
• Develop a lifelong love of reading.

Summer Reading Incentive

Students who successfully complete their Summer Reading assignment will be recognized and receive a special incentive during the 2026–2027 school year!

Additional details regarding the incentive and how students will submit their completed work will be shared after we return to school.

We encourage all of our Griffins to challenge themselves, explore new books, and make reading a daily habit this summer.
