Grandparent’s Day Breakfast- Monday, September 9th at 10:00 am We are excited to celebrate and recognize our Grandparents at the 2024 Grandparent's Breakfast. Parents should complete the Registration form to identify the grandparents that will attend. Students will be able to invite two (2) guests to attend. The event will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the FMS gymnasium. .
Quarter 1 Interims Distributed- Tuesday, September 3, 2024 Quarter 1 interims will be distributed on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Students will receive a paper copy of their interim. Interims will also be released electronically via ParentSquare.Parents and legal guardians needing access to their child's PowerSchool information should contact the school and request the information from Mrs. Regina Swann, PowerSchool Clerk.
Half-Day School Schedule for Wednesday, August 30th due to Weather Due to the possibility of severe weather in the forecast due to Hurricane Idalia, Fairfield County Schools will operate on a half-day schedule tomorrow, August 30, 2023. The following early dismissal schedule will be implemented. All after-school events and activities, including after-school care, are canceled on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Please continue to monitor local news outlets, the district website, along with Twitter and Facebook for continued updates. Dismissal time will be 12:20 PM.
Griffin PRIDE Day (August 25, 2023) Dear Parents and Guardians,This is a gentle reminder that we will hold our Griffin PRIDE celebration on tomorrow, August 25, 2023. We are proud of the academic achievements of our students, their excellent behavior, and the outstanding start to the 2023-2024 school year. Students will participate in activities that they have signed up for and we will hold a faculty vs. student basketball game. Each student and staff member will receive one (1) free Pelicans snowcone. Additionally, food trucks will be available for those that would like to purchase a meal from food trucks. All students will be served a bag lunch.
